Love his recordings with Ms. Meyer and Sergio Azzolini.

  • Serge says:

In a world with an absolute minimum of decency, the headline would be “Georg Klütsch, beloved bassoon player, is dead”

“Sabine Meyer’s bassoon” is about as plump as Slippedisc can get, and there is no end to it.

  • Esther Cavett says:

SD is getting horribly celebrity-focused. OK, Sabine Meyer is probably the better known (because of the business with HvK) but why does the title have to be about her rather than Mr Klutsch ?

  • Celso Antunes says:

    Sehr, sehr traurig…

  • Susanne Watts says:

You do realize that the punctuation you’ve used in both headlines implies that this bassoon has died, not the man himself?

Learn to use a comma and apostrophe correctly if you want to publish a blog.

Sabine Meyer, bassoon, dies at 72

  • Susanne Watts says:

Better yet, do the world a favor and stop publishing a blog/gossip column. This business has enough problems without you constantly poking at issues you don’t research.

    Condolences to his family.

  • S says:

Its worse than I realized, I didn’t even know the title was about a completely different person dying…

Sabine Myer’s bassoon, Georg Klutsch, dies at 72

    or how about

Georg Klutsch, prominent bassoonist, dies at 72

    or even just

    Georg Klutsch dies at 72

All are more acceptable than the horrid one you published.
