About Slipped Disc
WELCOME TO SLIPPED DISC, THE WORLD’S MOST-READ CULTURAL WEBSITE
YOU HAVE JOINED A READERSHIP OF TWO MILLION VISITORS A MONTH
Who we are, what we do.
Slipped Disc was founded on www.artsjournal.com in 2007 by the author and broadcaster Norman Lebrecht with the aim of providing swift and reliable inside information on classical music and related arts.
In response to investor interest, SD went independent in May 2014 and upgraded again in January 2021. Slipped Disc receives a constant flow of information from its users around the world. If something happens in music, you are likely to read it here first. We welcome readers’ comments and vigorous debate in the space below each item. The comments are moderated and sometimes redacted to provide a safe space for all visitors.
