Ex Artistic Director
And a quite controversial one……
You not at all right. Michailidis was one, maybe the most successful artistic director in the history of the greek national opera. He presented historic productions like Tristan for the first time in Greece, he made the opera popular in Greece and won new public for the institution. He is also a charismatic conductor and personality.
He will stay just two seasons there. They are already looking for the next one from 2020/21.
