It would be radical if the Ring were ever to be presented as intended.
Ah yes. “Regietheater” kills currently American, English, Italian and Austrian Opera.
It is to be hoped that it sounds better than it looks.
The Ring presented as the Brady Bunch. Where’s the Rhine? Where’s the Ring?
