The Mayor of Moscow has issued new guidance on admittance to public concerts.

All will have their temperature taken at the door. Anyone with a cough or runny nose will be sent home.

Visitors with a body temperature above 37 degrees and (or) having visual symptoms of respiratory diseases (cough, runny nose, weakness) are not allowed on the territory of the organization.

Better to stay at home with good audio equipment and a large cd/vinyl collection

  • alan says:

so what? surely that is sensible at the current time…

Only he who is running knows – PDQ Bach

  • M McAlpine says:

    Sounds good sense to me.

  • Sarah says:

I applaud the Russians – let’s keep the live music alive!

  • Dennis says:

Why bother, if one must be subjected to nonsense? Just stay home and throw on a CD. There is zero correlation between a supposedly high temperature reading (I doubt these will be particularly accurate or well-administered tests) and probability of being a carrier of the SARS-COV2 virus. Nor is there much evidence that asymptomatic carriers are particularly prone to spreading it. Tell sick people to stay home (as they should anyway even before Covid became the sole focus of everything), and go on with normal concerts.

      Bullshit “Dr” Dennis.
Just writing something down doesn’t make it true. Oh, hang on, I forgot where I was for a second: Slipped Disc.

Good but unfortunately the virus can be dormant in a person’s system with them showing no temperature or runny nose. This is still dangerous. Follow medical guidelines, please.

    • Maria says:

I’m not sure it refers to Covid-19, just runny noses and coughs. The majority of people with those symptoms don’t have the virus but are very good at spreading their germs and making people sick at the best of times. Anyhow with such symptoms or not should stay at home. This is going to be even more prevalent as the Autumn and Winter comes.
