Breaking: Major German orchestra names music director
mainWDR Cologne symphony orchestra are making a live announcement on Facebook about Jukka-Pekka Saraste’s successor as music director in 2019.
The new man is the busy Romanian conductor Cristian Macelaru.
Judging by the announcement show, he has a lot of German to learn.
