She assures followers that it is not life threatening.

She has put on some considerable weight lately while still trying to be as agile on stage as she always used to be. It seems she is facing a choice here as it can become dangerous for her to “throw her weight around” the stage like in the good old days while her bones and muscles are not getting stronger with age.
I guess this happened in rehearsal in Paris for Il trovatore, and it may be a sprained ankle.
