A mouse causes havoc in Washington orchestra concert
mainWhen a mouse was seen during a concert at London’s Barbican Hall in November, audience members shrugged and said, ‘oh, not again!’
In Washington, apparently, they are not used to such things. There were ‘a few squeals and much commotion’ when the little rodent ‘raced up and down the aisle in the Kennedy Center’s Concert Hall’ during Yutaka Sado’s debut with the National Symphony Orchestra.
Report here.
Wonderful photo. Looks like the typical pop group of the sixties.
A rabbit has been known to have the same affect in earlier decades:

Clearly a less hardy breed (audience, not rodents) than those of us who used to sit in the press seats at the back of Wigmore Hall in the late Sixties/early Seventies. Being assigned one of the weekly London Debut columns in The Times was frequently a rich hunting ground (rodents, not performers).
