Israel’s song is rained on by Eurovision

The organisers apparently consider it political and are considering exluding it from the competition.
Artists in Sweden, the 2024 host, have called for Israel to be removed altogether.
The new song has yet to be released.

I wish I could endlessly upvote your comment. This rabid, nazi-like vilification of Jews in general and Israelis in particular, posturing as ‘pro-Palestinian support’ is an abomination which has to stop.

This is all part of an old European tradition, to outlaw Jewish presence and existence. The october 7th pogrom gave many people a taste for more.

Thanks to Wikileaks, we do know that “Israel would be “happy” if Hamas took over Gaza [in 2007] because the IDF could then deal with Gaza as a hostile state.” So, everything is going according to the plan.
