RPO makes changes at the top
UncategorizedThe Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has reshuffled its top team after the departure of MD James Williams to the Royal College of Music and the retirement of concerts director Louise Badger.
Tom Philpott has been recruited from the BBC Symphony for the new position of Director of Artistic Planning and Partnerships. He says: ‘Can’t wait to join this outstanding group of musicians in March of 2024!’
Frances Axford Evans has been promoted from Concerts Manager to Concerts Director.
Looks like the CEO post will stay vacant for a while.
Yet more layers of management and grandiose job titles. All very nice and corporate…..
