ENO jumps onto 7 Deaths of Maria Callas
OperaEnglish National Opera, its funding secured for the next couple of years, has quietly added Marina Abramović’s creation, 7 Deaths of Maria Callas,, in the diva’s centennial year.
The Abramović show was premiered in Munich mid-Covid in Septembber 2020 to muted reviews.
It has since been seen in Athens, Berlin, Paris and Naples.
