Conductor loses single-breasted lawsuit
NewsYou may recall that the former Malmo Opera chief Michael Bojesen last month sued the international singer Peter Lodahl over the leak of an incriminating email to a tabloid newspaper.
The email by Bojesen, which can now be published, made reference to a third person’s body parts:
‘She sang in the DR Girls’ Choir and I know her well. She has developed very singly … and apparently has nipples – but no breasts to back them up.’
The email got Bojesen fired in Malmo. A further result was that DR paid compensation to 28 DR singers who were subjected to his abuse.
He then sued Lodahl for DKK 200,000 in damages for leaking the email. Today, the court found Lodahl had no case to answer.
