Dramatic scenes this morning at the High Court in Copenhagen where the sacked Malmo Opera chief Michael Bojesen is suing the international singer Peter Lodahl over the leak of an incriminating email to a tabloid newspaper.

The email made reference, the court was told , to the breasts of a female colleague.

Lodahl, a lyric tenor, is now music director of the Copenhagen Philharmonic.

The court had to be cleared to deal with a crush of spectators.

This is Denmark’s Wagatha Christie moment.

I am shocked, shocked. For a music site to cover everything from rape to assault to, now, mammaries. It’s too much for me to handle.
And I thought the Sun and the Mirror would do me in!
    “Seigneur, ayez pitiè de moi.”

  • Rei says:

Any chance that someone could give the name of the colleague for purely research purposes…

  • Paul Dawson says:

If one does not want one’s comments about a colleague’s physical characteristics to be circulated, then it is sheer folly to put them in an email.

  • Robert Holmén says:

It would be extra embarrassing if the breasts were man-breasts.

  • Willem Philips says:

Pretty bad, if not pitiful behavior. This should never have escalated to a court case.
