Scherzo reports the death of Ramon Coll, a beautiful interpreter of French and Iberian music and a friend of Sviatoslav Richter.

He was 82.

    Very sad. I remember him fondly from my two summers in Cambrils (1979, 1980). A phenomenal pianist and lovely guy. All the students were in awe of him. Rest in peace.
