Most car dealers are fiddlers at heart.
I love Vanessa Mae!
Not a fine violinist in the Milstein/Oistrakh/name-your-fave-classical-violinist mold, of course, but she was marvelous at what she did, and she looked great doing it.
I wish her all the luck in the world!
How many cars makes a collection ?
Well if she spends more time with the cars she might, just might stop that dreadful garbage on Classic fm. There used at least to be an evening concert but now it’s wall to wall ‘relaxing’ *#£& classics at all hours of the night. Simpering delivery and the awful pseudo-sophisticated voice overs. I think she could be part of the cause of their audience loss.
Playing “the world’s greatest music.” Oh yeah? Who says?
Classic fm is certainly a auditory argument for radio station euthanasia. Although my 700 cd collection and my Qobuz favourites do not contain any of VM’s cd’s, I respect her efforts and her career development project. Perhaps cars are more fruitful in the long run.
Two regular priced cars and one high priced car (probably leased). 3 cars is hardly an expensive collection.
Had not heard that name in 20 years. Meteoric publicity, average playing and she didn’t last long on the concert stage.
