Late change at top of UK arts festival

The international bass-baritone Matthew Rose was announced two months ago as director of Deal Music & Arts Festival in Kent.

But Matthew is unwell and a replacement has been installed.

Step forward Luke Styles, British-Australian composer.

The Trustees of Deal Music and Arts are delighted to announce the appointment of Luke Styles as Artistic Director of the Deal Festival. Luke is a composer whose work has been performed at Cheltenham and Glyndebourne festivals as well as internationally. He is looking forward to drawing together our communities to make the experience of music and the arts welcoming and inclusive whilst championing excellence and innovation.
