There is so little of substance to write about in the classical music world at the moment that we’re just reverting to pre-pubescent titallation?

Wishful thinking.
I feel embarrassed by what the author considers worth to post. However, this small posting explains the so-called “crisis of classical music” to its best. Great example to illustrate for a young generation what the actual problem is.
Europeans are generally pretty ho-hum about nudity, and anything getting a bit ‘suggestive,’ say, with the result that they can come out with some wonderful art that the Americans see as porn, the Brits, salacious. This post has shown the differing attitudes quite well.
