Immeasurable…!
What a beautiful tribute in such a wonderful setting for him. Well done the synagogue!
Just brilliant. Touching. And pitch perfect
“No one is alone” will never be a prayer as it is entirely self-referential. The post-modern lyrics declare “You decide what’s right, you decide what’s good.” The “someone” who is on your side cannot be interpreted as being the God of Judaism or Christianity.
The songs says we make decisions about what is right and good, sometimes rightly, sometimes wrongly, but that we are never alone. This is the very essence of the Judeo-Christian ethos.
Just beautiful.
