Opera Australia artists isolate after construction worker tests positive
NewsCast, chorus and orchestra for Opera Australia’s upcoming Otello have been ordered into self-isolation after a construction worker at the Sydney Opera House tested positive to Covid-19.
Everyone who has visited the venue over the past six days has been told to test and self-isolate.
The Otello opening night has been postponed and the rest of the season is ‘under review’.
Sydney is once more under lockdown.
An absurd over-reaction that is sadly typical of Oz at the moment.
Only 9% of Australian adults are fully vaccinated so they have to be cautious. Here in the US we have our Trump vaccine so we can live our lives normally again.
