Indeed…he taught me the cello back in the 70’s…I would agree with all of the above!
We will miss Kirk greatly. As a conductor he is an inspiration, and he’s also just a great guy.

Missouri Symphony = based in Columbia, Missouri.
A great loss to the orchestra. He is a great musician with a discography of over 100 recordings. I wonder if they can afford bringing in a new music director of his caliber.
