We understand that Kirk Trevor is stepping down as conductor of the Missouri Symphony Orchestra which he has led for two decades.

Trevor, 69, is also its director.

  • Patrick says:

Good man, fine musician, classy guy.

    • Rustier spoon says:

Indeed…he taught me the cello back in the 70’s…I would agree with all of the above!

  • MSO Musician says:

We will miss Kirk greatly. As a conductor he is an inspiration, and he’s also just a great guy.

  • Vaquero357 says:

Missouri Symphony = based in Columbia, Missouri.

  • Michel Lemieux says:

A great loss to the orchestra. He is a great musician with a discography of over 100 recordings. I wonder if they can afford bringing in a new music director of his caliber.
