We understand that Kirk Trevor is stepping down as conductor of the Missouri Symphony Orchestra which he has led for two decades.

Trevor, 69, is also its director.

      Indeed…he taught me the cello back in the 70’s…I would agree with all of the above!

    We will miss Kirk greatly. As a conductor he is an inspiration, and he’s also just a great guy.

    Missouri Symphony = based in Columbia, Missouri.

    A great loss to the orchestra. He is a great musician with a discography of over 100 recordings. I wonder if they can afford bringing in a new music director of his caliber.
