Ching Lien brought our DNO Chorus to a superior level. Best Operachorus in the world 2016.We owe her a lot. May Paris treasure her!!!

      Read your comment! 🙂

    • Guus Mostart says:

With due respect: she was not a patch on Winfried Maczewski.

      • Michaela says:

They both had /have excellent qualities and were devoted to our Chorus and gave the best being passionate individuals and musicians !! Zoals men in het Nederlands zegt. “Geen appels met peren vergelijken.” As they both worked and work at the highest level they added something precious to the work in progress a choir always is. And by the way ChingLien build further on the legacies of what Winfried and Martin Wright left before she took over.

        • Guus Mostart says:

Compared to Maczewski and Wright – and I base my opinion on countless productions I attended at Netherlands Opera – Ms Wu was very capable but not in the same class, I am afraid.

  • Micaela Bonetti says:

Nice job in Geneva she did!

  • Anthony Sayer says:

    Wobbly grammar today there be.

  • Luca says:

The French don’t bother about this politically correct stuff: they say “cheffe” for a woman, whether in the kitchen or on the podium.
