    Aw, hell…. now Ann Reinking?
Singer. Dancer. Actor. Choreographer. Teacher. Film producer. She was one of the brightest lights on the Broadway stage.
Ann not only “played” Roxie Hart in the musical “Chicago” on Broadway, she choreographed the show and won a Tony for Best Choreographer.
(When she was in her teens, she studied at the San Francisco Ballet, so for me, there’s a local connection.)
Only 71 years old. Damn. Double damn.
Rest in Peace, dear Ann. You left way too soon.

Terrible video quality — someone’s VCR had problems back in the 1970s — but oh man, the electricity onstage. You can’t take your eyes off her.

(If you look carefully right after the video fuzz-out at the beginning, you can see John Travolta when he was just a baby.)

Also: is it any wonder she was famous for her legs? (Unclutch your pearls, she’s wearing long pants)
