These football and rugby pieces are a lot of things, but they seem out of sync with the general tone of the SD Comfort Zone repertoire.
Hard contact and exhausting running set to music! Maybe it is just me or the recollection of the version(s) that I listened to decades ago, but this recording seem to pull a few punches, like they’re playing to avoid penalties. Still it is nice to hear the piece again.
Play the referee, or in this case the composer, eh?
