  • I am very grateful for this information, thank you!

Two other things I had not been aware of are that Ms Netrebko apparently likes bananas and also seems to have joined the US Army.

Now all I need to know is whether she took a taxi to Mr Singer’s store.

      • I don’t think my car is fancy enough, Alexander.

The final line of my previous post is a reference to a earlier SD “news item” about the lady several months ago, the news being that she hailed her own cab while in Miami or some such place.

        • Nobody seems to have such a long memory nowadays unless it is of a professional necessity or personal affection. Norman should mark you as a privileged member of the blog’s contributors . Have a nive day 😉

    • Thank you for these nuggets! Speaking of which, in her latest trip to New York City, Miss Netrebko was observed eschewing McDonalds in favor of a Jimmy Johns.

But your information about the U.S. Army is most definitely incorrect, seeing as how she is not a U.S citizen. She has, however, joined the French Foreign Legion.

        • But naturalization is.

Of course, being “natural” is the most natural thing in the world for Anna Netrebko — as is her penchant for haute couture. Just the other day, she was observed wearing Gabrielle Bonheur ‘Coco’ Chanel’s little black dress, Wallis Warfield Spencer Simpson Windsor’s stiletto heels and Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis’ pillbox hat.

  • I wonder if she also designed the racially insensitive one with the black boy on the front (it was on her Instagram account over the summer if you so dare to have a look). I guess the native American costume was Anna’s doing at any rate.
