Thank you for sharing this with us. The unique Vienna chamber music style still lives. I am thinking of those wonderful Westminster recordings of chamber music made in the 1950’s, many with quartet players taken from the Wiener Philharmoniker.

While gossip does seem to appeal to many online readers, I genuinely hope that musical performances and the music itself can excite a sufficient base to serve as the core of this forum.
