The latest head of the Australian National University’s School of Music, Kenneth Lampl, has resigned after less than two years.

He is the fifth or sixth occupant of the ejector seat since mid-2015.

Colleagues have been told that ‘his decision to step down (is) in order to focus on his passion in composition and teaching’.

Words fail. Just like Anu, really.

The school is in Canberra, capital of Australia, and is therefore ignored by main-city media. The present downfall started here.
