Weirdly unforgettable.

  • Brilliant – I had never heard this. It is chilling; the corruption of something comfortable and familiar and safe augments the growing despair, gradually sneaking its tendrils into the peripherals of the listener. I will certainly save and revisit this one, and delve deeper.. Bravo.

  • I love this piece and have a recording of it. I have played it for people who don’t know they are supposed to hate modernism, and they really love it too.

  • I really like this. It sounds like a music box (a tiny revolving Christmas tree) we had growing up that got so overplayed and old it started to go bad (or get misaligned or whatever happens to music boxes). We kept on playing it long after the dissonance developed.
