A new British orchestra fails to get a hearing

The British German Philharmonic Orchestra, launched with an oompah in January, has collapsed without playing a single concert.

Apparently they could not find enough players in Germany who were willing to play in a British band.

Ah well, stiff upper lip and all that.

    If the reason you give has been really relevant, my guess is that they haven’t asked the right people or searched in the right corners.

    If these are paid positions maybe people are afraid to join for fear that their visas may be revoked as Brexit is implemented
