Social and personal: Top violinist gets wed
mainWe are delighted to announce the marriage in Salzburg of Arabella Steinbacher, a widely recorded soloist, to Wolfgang Schaufler, publisher at Universal Edition, Vienna.
We wish the couple every happiness.
The groom’s suit, we hear, was chosen and fitted by the renowned men’s couturier Andris Nelsons, presently engaged in Boston and Leipzig.
I think if I were going to choose a renowned musician to pick out and fit a suit for me it would have to be András Schiff, quite the most elegantly attired musician I can think of today.
