Just in: Dutch Ballet grabs baton from Covent Garden
OperaDutch National Ballet has named the Belgian Koen Kessels as its music director, as well as artistic director and principal conductor of Dutch Ballet Orchestra. Kessels, 62, is presently music director of the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden and of Birmingham Royal Ballet.
Will he stay? Will he go?
Apparently, he’s dropping Brum to take the Dutch jobs.
