“that he is maybe a little bit different than the “normal” people”??? “the problem”?? So he was not “normal”???? Come on, don’t be so derogatory: He was homosexual (like many other great composers) and THE SOCIETY had a problem with that.
You really have to be a hypersensitive idiot to hear any homophobia in this sincere and empathetic interview.
Zimerman makes dramatic dancing air quotes with his fingers when he says “normal”. I’d think that would be enough.
