Bang on a Can star dies
RIPThe versatile doublebass player Robert Black, a founder of Bang on a Can AllStars, died yesterday of cancer, aged 67.
He taught at Manhattan School of Music.

Robert had a wonderful joie de vivre and dedicated much time to eclectic music and his students.
I have many fond memories of sharing the stage with him in numerous music festivals in Brazil. RIP my friend – Hope you enjoy a nice Caipirinha from the beyond 🙁 Adeus!
