The Vienna Philharmonic is pleased to invite you to a media talk in the Salettl of the Restaurant Riedenburg (Neutorstrasse 31, 5020 Salzburg).
The Chairman of the Vienna Philharmonic, Daniel Froschauer, and the Managing Director, Michael Bladerer, will present the 2023/2024 season.
Our colleague and cellist, Ursula Wex, Christian Thielemann as well as the President of Sony Classical, Per Hauber, are also waiting to talk to you.

. Anton Bruckner Jubilee Year
. New Year’s Concert 2024
. 150th birthday of Arnold Schönberg
. 200th anniversary of the premiere of L.v. Beethoven’s 9th Symphony
You know who else will be celebrating a 150th birthday? Franz Schmidt, one time cellist and sometimes conductor of the VPO. His music was quite popular with the Viennese years ago. Born in 1874 like Arnold Schoenberg, Schmidt really deserves some recognition in my opinion. We’ll see.
