EU flags are being distributed for free all over Liverpool in a crowdfunding-backed initiative.
Will the BBC try to ban them?

It’s not the EU flag; it’s the flag of Europe. Its only official status is as the flag of the Council of Europe (formed 1957), of which the UK is still a member.

The flags are being handed out for FREE, all crowdfunded and taken willingly. None are sold.

A minority of contestants in Eurovision come from the EU. The flag is not the flag of the EU anyway.
Let them wave the flags if they want. It always amuses me that these are often the same people on social media who shout “fascist state!” every time they see a few Union Jacks.
