A Russian and a Ukrainian face off in piano final

At the keyboard tonight are Roman Lopatynskyi (Ukraine0, Jonathan Mamora (US) and Valentin Malinin (Russia0.
The jury is not made up of the usual faces.

What a fantastic picture. A Ukrainian and a Russian in brotherly embrace. Absolutely wonderful. Blessings to them both, and the American soloist as well.
It should be noted that Mr Mamora is on the left, Mr Lopatynskyi is on the right, and grinning in the middle is Mr Malinin of Russia.

Indeed the jury is refreshing, perhaps that is why the finalists are especially interesting.
Spain—once largely responsible for conquering the New World and wiping out tribes from coastlines to mountain tops, is bringing together two countries at war along with the third party. Let them make the best of it
