Montreal loses a tenor to brain cancer
RIPThe Orchestre symphonique de Montréal – OSM writes:
We are very sad to learn today of the death of a friend, colleague and great artist: Marcel de Hêtre, lyrical singer and chorus of the OSM Choir for more than 35 years. 🖤
The entire large OSM family, and especially his fellow choralists will remember him as a singer with a great heart, with a unique sense of humour, joy and deep passion for choral music.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Marcel also worked as personnel director of Les Violons du Roy.
Marcel sang with Orchestra of St. Luke’s in Carnegie Hall many times as a member of Bernard Labadie’s choir, La Chapelle de Québec. We expresses deep sympathy to his loved ones.
