Ukraine ballet star dies fighting the Russians
RIPThe Ukraine National Opera ballet dancer Oleksandr Shapoval was killed in combat yesterday near Maiorske on the Donetsk front.
He joined the armed forces as a grenade launcher shortly after the Russian invasion in February.
Shapoval’s death was confirmed by Kateryna Kukhar, prima ballerina of the National Opera. She said: ‘He was a remarkable artist, our every performance together was filled with such vitality…because he was one of those few people who lived for the stage… And now his dance has become eternal.’
So sad. None of this should have ever happened.
A sad, horrible waste…..
A beautiful human being, who felt his civil duty was to defend his country from the ugly genocidal dwarf in the Kremlin…
