A second Salzburg sponsor is accused of Putin ties

Now the Solway Investment Group, a mining company based in Zug, Switzerland, has been listed by the investigative journalism site Bellingcat as a Kremlin-friendly group of Russian and Latvian moneymen. It is a major sponsor of Salzburg’s youth events.
Two artists at this summer’s Salzburg Festival, the Swiss writer Lukas Bärfuss and Latvian-US director Yana Ross, have called for an investigation.
