The Canadian pianist Tony Siqi Yun, winner of the 2019 China International Music Competition, has been signed by Askonas Holt.

Yun, 20, performed the final of that contest with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Yannick Nézet-Séguin, returning with Yannick to play the Cara Schumann concerto this year with the Orchestre Métropolitain in Montreal.

He is presently a student at Juilliard.

His compatriot Bruce Xiaoyu Liu, winner of this year’s Chopin Comeptition in Warsaw is still without a manager.

It is also true that China competition he won in 2019 is the most corrupted in the history of competitions.
