Music makes us better human beings
Some pretty awful people have loved great music, sad to say. But Ma’s gesture certainly can’t hurt. Though it smacks of a publicity stunt.
Flying around the world to “grace” strangers with your superior humanitarianism, then quickly leaving to grace another part of the world before you get “bogged down” with the common folk. Nothing arrogant about that?

Although to be honest, his ‘intemperate “sickly optimistic” style of playing is starting to get old.
