The Italian mezzo Cecilia Bartoli is the first woman to be allowed to perform or record with the men and boys’ choir of the Sistine Chapel.

The record is out this week.

Can anyone see a woman on the cover?

Oh, no, she’s just on the video.

No but maybe she’s in drag

  • herrera says:

Yet, she’s the only one not wearing a dress (a nice red dress no less).

  • Alexander says:

couldn’t spot her in the video

  • Alex Davies says:

Given that she is only singing on one track (3:48) on the whole CD (16 tracks=1:04:36) it seems proportionate to have included her name on the cover but not to have included her in the photo.

  • Maria says:

History being made at the Vatican – keep the women at a distance! 🙂

  • David Hill says:

It’s still bloody sloppy, undisciplined singing, though!
