Rudi Tutz was a legend, he made wonderful instruments, including Chalameaus transverse flutes and bassett horns. During my 10 years attending Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik, I got to know him well and his wife the flautist Linde Brunmayr-Tutz, who lived next to the Gasthof I stayed in during my visits. He will be greatly missed.
