They were great fun. And basically my introduction to pop music for the first time since schooldays — opened up my ears. I did not see the last few, though, so missed George Michael. But I became a fan of several artists I had not previously known: the Cranberries, Sheryl Crow, the fabulous Italian rocker Zucchero.
Pav once did a duet with Elton John called Live Like Horses, in English and Italian, which still sends shivers down my spine if I hear it.
