Trump’s life is the stuff of an operatic libretto. His real life voice is probably in the high baritone or tenor range. But in the Trump opera the character should be a bass: more appropriate for both his buffo and his evil qualities.
I’d have to say that the top video is an example of how the musical comedy song genre is not well-served by the operatic voice style.
And if I was President, I would pass a law making it mandatory that there’d be a broadway production of “Of Thee I Sing” every election year !!
