The worst job in the orchestra world?
mainThe Malaysia Philharmonic are advertising in the Guardian for a head of artistic administration and a head of orchestral management. Since the orch is under an international boycott and known for firing foreigners without notice, the ads sound more like an invitation to career suicide.

Sounds like Michael Henson of the Minnesota Orchestra might be good in this this position.
Great idea
I’d be happy to write Michael Henson a completely sincere reference.
Let’s all recommend Michael Henson for the job, because there will be more than a few of us here in the Twin Cities calling for him to relinquish his job with the Minnesota Orchesta
Hmm… perhaps an opportunity to insert a double agent and turn things around?….
Orchestral management anywhere is career suicide. Might as well do it for lots of money in a tropical paradise, than for a joke salary in a grey British city…
