Cleveland plucks NY quartet player as assistant concertmaster
mainJessica Lee, a member of the Johannes String Quartet and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Two, is packing her bags and moving to Cleveland.
She will occupy the seat recently vacated by Yoko Moore.
Jessica has enjoyed a portfolio career which has not, until now, included playing in an international orchestra.

Did she audition?
I think you mean Julianne–not Jessica. Two different violinists.
Definitely Jessica. http://www.cleveland.com/musicdance/index.ssf/2016/08/cleveland_orchestra_announces_24.html
Cellist Dane Johansen, recently of the LC Chamber Music Society’s wonderful Escher Quartet, departed for the Cleveland Orchestra last year. His replacement Brook Speltz has fit right in.
This is Vassar’s loss. We will miss Jessica: but what a great opportunity!
Jessica is a great player – lucky Cleveland!
And Jessica is KOREAN-American, not Chinese! Native of Richmond, Va.
