To think Mozart hated Salzburg so much, he would have been happy to see the transformation today. Ironic a major talent like him was a perpetual freelancer and never was able to land a permanent job.

In related news, the latest from Hollywood is a new classical music film to be directed by none other than George Clooney. A lifelong music lover, and nephew of the legendary (and smarter) Rosemary Clooney, George would like now to share his appreciation of the great classical composers.

Very little things are known about the new production. The fact that George is the director has raised not a few eyebrows, since the films he helmed are, truly speaking, not that good. I mean, “Leatherheads”. Seriously? The other ones, while more pretentious, they have been equally goofy.

One thing that is however known, is the title of the new flic: “Syriana Fischer-Dieskau”.
