The Hungarian exile composer Tamás Ungváry has died at the age of 87. He was composer in residence for many years at the Stiftelsen Electro-Acoustic Music in Sweden.

He went on to lead the Computer Music and Electronic Media at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.

    Electronic music composers are a dime a dozen. “Sweden mourns” is a bit of an overstatement.

    The work in the video is actually very good, refined sonic art, done with sensitivity. That is too rarely the case with the genre.
