Buchbinder hands over baton
OrchestrasThe Grafenegg Festival near Vienna was founded by the pianist Rudolf Buichbinder in 2007 and led by him ever since.
Buchbinder, who is 77, decided today to hand over the role of artistic director to the Austrian arts executive Johannes Neubert, presently head of the Orchestre National de France.
Buchbinder will become president of Grafenegg.
Johannes Neubert is German.
